Lectures, symposiums, semester classes and monthly lecture series in Hebrew and English.
Ayala and Zalman Abramov Library

The library's collection of Hebraica, Judaica, Biblical Archaeology and rare book collections are available to all students, scholars and the general public during regular library hours; Sunday - Thursday, 8:15 AM - 4:45 PM.
Music

Monthly Concert Series,
many featuring liturgical music, Yiddish and Ladino songs, Israeli
Art Music performed by HUC Cantorial Students and Faculty. Classical
music programs performed by Israeli artists. HUC Community Choir meets
once a week and performs Israeli and Jewish music and classical music
on Jewish themes.
The Hallel Choir
was founded in 2000 as the community choir of the Hebrew Union College
in Jerusalem. The choir provides a welcoming environment for some
thirty-five choral singers in the wider community, some of whom
have years of choral experience and are even professional musicians,
while others are being introduced to choral singing for the first
time.
Skirball Museum of Biblical Archaeology

Skirball Museum of Biblical Archaeology:
Open to the public, free of charge, Sunday through Thursday, 10:00
am to 4:00 PM. The museum features artifacts from HUC-JIR excavations
at Tel Dan, Tel Gezer and Tel Aroer.
Art Exhibitions

Changing exhibitions of art and photography on Jewish and Israel themes
in the HUC lobby.
HUC-JIR/UAHC Kesher Program, Jerusalem

Young adults who are in Israel can make contact with like-minded students
from around the world, stay in touch with the Reform Movement and
find a "home away from home" at the HUC-JIR 's Jerusalem Campus.
College age students and volunteers in Israel are invited to the
campus for Rosh HaShana services and Erev Rosh Hashana Seder Dinner.
Home hospitality for Rosh HaShana and Yom Kippur is available.
Shabbat and holiday services and celebrations, study opportunities
and social events throughout the year. For information, please contact

Department of Educational Initiatives:
Pedagogic Center and Teacher Training Programs

1. Provide teaching materials that present Progressive Jewish
values on the Jewish holidays, Bible stories, Shabbat, the Flora
and Fauna of the Land of Israel, gender-sensitive materials; games,
activities, program ideas and much more. (All materials are in Hebrew)
2. Year long training classes for Early childhood teachers at
the HUC-JIR Jerusalem Campus and seminars throughout the country
at Early Childhood Centers of the Israel Progressive Movement.
3. The Center's collection of creative teaching material is available
to; Early childhood teachers from the Israel Movement for Progressive
Judaism's pre-school network Teachers from the Tali School network
(enriched Jewish studies) Teacher's from the Israeli general school
system Visiting educators from the Diaspora Counselors from the
Israel Movement for Progressive Judaism Youth Movement
