HUC-JIR Co-Sponsors Gender and Bible Conference in New York Conference honoring the memory of Tikva Frymer-Kensky, the inaugural Rabbi Sally F. Priesand Visiting Professor at HUC-JIR, will feature HUC-JIR faculty, including Dr. Tamara Cohn Eskenazi, Professor of Bible, HUC-JIR/LA, and Debbie Friedman, Instructor in Music at HUC-JIR's School of Sacred Music in New York.
