Dr.
Wacholder is Professor of Talmud and Rabbinics at HUC-JIR/Cincinnati,
and holds the Solomon B. Freehof Professorship of Jewish Law and Practice.
Dr. Wacholder became Librarian at the HUC-JIR, Los Angeles in 1956,
and three years later joined the faculty. Dr. Wacholder's specialties
are the origins and development of Talmudic Judaism and ancient Jewish
commentaries.
