New Catalog

The library has updated its catalog. You'll notice new screens when you access it over the Internet. Some of the new features include being able to do keyword searching in Hebrew and being able to email or printout a select list of items (through the cart)

Computers

We are happy to announce that most of the old computers in the library have been replaced by fresh, fast new ones. Please do not download or save anything onto these computers. If you want to save a file, save it to the 't' drive. If you have any questions about the college's computer policy, please see Joy Beland, the network administrator.

Shoah Foundation Access Project

Thanks to the generosity of the Shoah Foundation, the patrons of the Frances-Henry Library, now have access to a wonderful resource through our USC connection. The Survivors of the Holocaust Visual History Archive contains video testimony of Holocaust survivors. These can be viewed from the computers in the back of the library which are connected to the USC network.

Get to the Visual History Archive by clicking on Internet Explorer. Tim Stanton, Project Director (seated) demonstrates the Shoah Foundation resources to Sheryl Stahl, Assistant Librarian, Lewis Barth, Dean, John Bruggeman, Director of Information Systems, and Joy Beland, Network Administrator.
