Through The Curtain: Digital Art by Shulamit Tibor

Israeli artist Shulamit Tibor has created an intriguing exhibition of dramatic theatrical scenes, combining advanced computer technology and archival photographs, that exude mystery and emotions connecting us to a rich Jewish cultural past. Her shadowy images, suffused with intense color and manipulated by the artist to heighten their expressive impact, are drawn from early 20th century productions of renowned Yiddish plays that were first presented at the Yiddish Theater of Moscow, later in Warsaw, and ultimately in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
