Jerusalem

Dear Students, It is hard—if not impossible—to find the words to express our shock and outrage over the attack at Mercaz HaRav last Thursday evening. We are deeply saddened by the loss of the innocent and noble lives of the students who were so brutally murdered. We pray that God will grant strength to their families, to their friends and colleagues, and to all whose lives they touched. We pray as well that the wounded find healing, and that those in physical or emotional trauma find hope and wholeness. May we strengthen one another, and continue to work toward a day when those who sow in tears will reap in joy.

With our deepest sympathy, and in remembrance,
The Students of Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion
