Rabbi Shena Potter Jaffee, Regional Director of Admissions and Recruitment at HUC-JIR/Cincinnati, Leads Recruitment Efforts throughout Midwest

Eighteen potential HUC-JIR applicants spent a weekend with students, faculty, and staff at the Cincinnati campus at the Youth Programs College Colloquium, and several stayed to attend classes the following Monday.

The Youth Programs College Colloquium was 36 hours of meetings and learning about HUC-JIR. The weekend gave eighteen potential applicants exposure to several rabbinical students and professors, in addition to attending a class taught by Stacy Delcau, RJE, Director of Outreach Education and Supervisor of Clinical Learning at HUC-JIR/Cincinnati. Several participants of the Colloquium have already applied to HUC-JIR, and others plan to apply next year.

Rabbi Jaffee also represented HUC-JIR at a BBYO convention in Chicago, and on the campus of Indiana University, where she delivered the d'var Torah at the campus' Reform Shabbat services and met with students and faculty.
