Welcome to Rachel Adler, Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Los Angeles
Rabbinic School.
Tammy Schachet-Briskin will be coordinator of the Berit Mila program in Los
Angeles.
John Bruggeman joined the College-Institute staff on September 28 as
Director of Information Services. He most recently supervised the
installation of the local area network at our Cincinnati campus while with
LINC Inc. He will be based on the Cincinnati campus but will spend

Karen Dotson has been hired as a full-time employee of the Business Office
staff as Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Coordinator. She can be

Carolyn Feibel has returned to serve as National Public Affairs Associate

Sharon Friedman became Director of Development for the Western Region on June
15. Sharon was a fund raiser with the Jewish Federation of Greater Los
Angeles for 17 years.
Marca Gay has been promoted to Administrator to the Dean in Los Angeles.
Madelyn Mishkin Katz has joined the staff of the LA campus as Director of
Student Services. Madelyn is a 1984 graduate of the Rhea Hirsch School of
Education.
Susan Milamed has been appointed Foundation and Organization Grants Officer
and will serve as a resource on grant opportunities for faculty and staff on
all campuses. Susan has served as Director of Development and
Communica-tions for The HealthCare Chaplaincy in New York City and as
Associate Director of the Jewish Fund for Justice. Based on the the New York

Dr. Carol Ochs was appointed Coordinator of Graduate Studies at the New York
School. She is visiting professor of Philosophy, HUC-JIR/NY.
Richard J. Scheuer, an honorary chair of the Board of Governors, has been
appointed Assistant to the President for Israel Projects. He will assist
Rabbi Zimmerman in developing programs and outreach in Israel.
