 Sandie Mills Named Director of Finance and Accounting Sandie Mills has been named Director of Finance and Accounting at Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion and will work at the Cincinnati campus. In her role, she will be responsible for all finance, accounting and related activities of the College-Institute and serve as the primary liaison to the Finance, Audit, and Investment Committees of the Boards of Governors and Overseers. "With 20 years of not-for-profit experience, we look forward to Sandie Mills's expertise and guidance," said Gary Bockelman, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at HUC-JIR. Mills has a BBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Cincinnati and also studied at the post-Graduate level there. She is a CPA and member of the American Institute of CPA's and the Ohio Society of CPA's. She most recently served as the Director of Finance, Accounting, and Human Resources at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, Inc.
