Rabbi David Ellenson to speak on Jewish Unity for Synagogue Council of Massachusett's Birnbaum Memorial Lecture -- Sunday, March 25 at 7:30 pm

The Synagogue Council of Massachusetts' 4th annual Connie Spear Birnbaum Memorial Lecture will feature Rabbi David Ellenson on Sunday, March 25 at 7:30 pm (doors open at 7:00) at Temple Shalom of Newton. Rabbi Ellenson, President of HUC-JIR, will address the topic "A Shared Landscape, Different Roads: What Modern Jewish History Has to Teach Us About Jewish Unity Today." Sponsored by the Synagogue Council of Massachusetts and area congregations and agencies, the annual Birnbaum Lecture honors the memory of Connie Spear Birnbaum, a former Synagogue Council staff member who was linked to the cause of Jewish unity in her personal and professional lives.
