Taking place on October 10-11, 2004 on the campus of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, this conference will explore the shifts in religious engagement that are occuring around the world and across the religious spectrum.

Is there a growing gap between those adopting a more strict religious practice and individuals who are opting out of organized religion altogether? How can religious tradition be passed on to the next generation?
