Integrating Sephardi and Mizrachi Studies: Research and Practice November 16-18, 2008 In the last few decades the study of Sephardi and Mizrachi culture has increased significantly but Judaic Studies as a field has not integrated a wider perspective on the diversity of Jewish experiences in the Modern Period. This conference will review the current state of Sephardic Studies and provide research from scholars and offer models of integration for teachers. Public programs will feature scholars and members of the Los Angeles Jewish community.
